DevOps Lead

Right now, we are seeking a strong DevOps Lead to scale our infrastructure to serve users accessing our applications in a multi-tenant/multi-region environment as well as to manage our existing DevOps team. The successful candidates will bring an abundant curiosity and desire to innovate. Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the DevOps teams to be the successful ingredient one of the whole company for effectively and quickly meeting the market demands
• Implement automation and industry best practices to run our large scale, rapidly growing infrastructure with minimum human intervention.
• Research, design, and implement solutions for fault tolerance, monitoring, performance enhancements, capacity optimization, disaster recovery, and configuration management of systems and applications.
• Configure and build tools for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for our Microservices and Products.
• Develop a containerization strategy for the cloud deployment of our products to our international customers (US, Canada, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, France, and Turkey).
• Collaborate with many development teams to form up the standards on how code should be optimally structured for easy deployment.
• Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity.

Requirements

We are constantly evolving our toolset looking for best in breed solutions, but here are some of the technologies we are currently or will be using in the near future:

• Infrastructure as Code (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, ...)
• Linux
• Scripting (Bash, Powershell)
• AWS
• Jenkins
• PostgreSQL
• Kubernetes
• Kafka
• ElasticSearch
• Java/Spring
• Ability to communicate effectively in English

Experiences with the above tools are great. We are looking for motivated individuals with a desire to learn and explore, but at the same time be mindful of what it takes to build scalable and stable production environments. Bonus points if you are interested in automated testing.
