KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning
• Collaborate with the School Leadership Team (SLT) to align admissionsand retention goals with the school's overall strategic objectives.
• Develop and execute the school's strategicadmissions and retention plans in line with the school's mission, vision, and goals.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the education sector, both locally and internationally.
• Define and enhance the school's brand positioning to ensure it resonates with the target audience in a competitive landscape.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness ofadmissions and retention strategies, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Admissions
• Oversee the entire admissions process, from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for prospective students and their families.
• Set and achieve annual enrollment targets, working closely with the admissions team to track progress and implement strategies to meet goals.
• Develop strong relationships with prospective families, providing personalized guidance and support throughout the admissions journey.
• Collaborate with academic and student services teams to develop and implement retention strategies, ensuring high levels of student satisfaction and retention.
• Develop and implement admissions policies and procedures that align with the school's mission and values.
• Train and supervise the admissions team to ensure consistent and effective communication with prospective students and their families.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Admissions team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Work closely with academic and administrative departments to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to student recruitment and retention.
• Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to achieve admissions goals.
Parent Engagement
• Develop and implement strategies to foster strong, collaborative relationships with current parents, ensuring their voices are heard and valued within the school community.
• Develop and implement systems to garner regular parent feedback and liaise with the academic and support teams to ensure that issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
• Track and monitor parent complaints, including satisfaction with their resolutions.
• Organise and oversee regular parent engagement initiatives, such as parent-teacher forums, workshops, seminars, information sessions and social events.
• Facilitate opportunities for parents to contribute to the school community, including through volunteering, mentoring and participating in school events.
• Ensure effective communication with parents regarding school updates, events, and opportunities for involvement.
Community Relationship
• Foster positive relationships with parents, alumni, local businesses, and community organizations to build a supportive and engaged school community.
• Develop and implement strategies to engage alumni in the life of the school, fostering a strong and supportive alumni network.
Data Management, Reporting and Compliance
• Manage and analyze admissions data to inform decision-making and optimize strategies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on admissions trendsand strategic initiatives to the senior leadership team.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, school policies, and accreditation standards in all admissions activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of admissions data and performance metrics.
• Ensure the proper development and operation of the admissions database system, including training new users and proposing new functionalities as needed.
• Oversee the maintenance and quality assurance of all student records, including demographics, health records, residence status, and contact information.
Budget Management
• Develop and manage the Admissions & Retention budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures where possible, without compromising the quality of admissions efforts.
• Provide accurate and timely financial reports related to admissions activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.

REQUIREMENTS
Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Counseling, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master's Degree is preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in admissions, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading admissions initiatives, leading admissions processes, recruitment, and evaluation of prospective students in a dynamic international K-12 environment.
Skills and Competencies:
• Leadership Skills: Strong organizational, networking, facilitation, and management skills; work both independently and within a team-oriented structure.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentations. Strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural competencies, and demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive and respectful relationships with all stakeholders, maintaining a commitment to education. High level of integrity and professionalism with a commitment to ethical standards and practices.
• Admissions Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of admissions processes and assessment practices, including current tools for student enrollment, trends in higher education, regulatory requirements, and educational best practices, with skills in interpreting relevant data such as report cards, IEPs, educational/psychological evaluations, and standardized assessments. Commitment to ongoing professional development in this area.
• Data Analysis and Enrollment Forecasting: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions, along with the ability to forecast enrollment and net revenues to ensure that enrollment and registration goals are met.
Education
