Supervisor: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
The Director of Operations (DOO) for True North School will play a vital role in upholding our commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences our True North School and True North Kindergarten. The DOO will provide strategic oversight and leadership across several key functional areas, including Human Resources, Research & Development, Marketing, Admissions, Customer Service, Operations, and Administration.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive operational strategies that align with our mission and promote the growth of our education group. Collaborate with the COO, Board of Managers (BOM), and other leadership team members to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies
- Human Resources Management: Oversee all HR functions, ensuring recruitment, retention, and development of high-quality staff. Implement effective performance evaluation systems and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Research & Development: Oversee the R&D team in developing and improving our international bilingual curriculum, ensuring it meets international and Vietnamese standards, promotes student achievement, and caters to diverse learning needs
- Marketing and Admissions: Lead the Marketing team in developing strategies to enhance our brand visibility and attract prospective students. Oversee the Admissions process, ensuring it is efficient, equitable, and effective in recruiting a diverse and talented student body
- Customer Service: Ensure the delivery of excellent service to our parents and students. Create systems for gathering, analyzing, and responding to parent and student feedback
- Operations and Administration: Oversee all operational and administrative aspects of our schools, including facilities management, financial management, risk management, and compliance with local and international education regulations
- Performance Management: Regularly review performance metrics across all functional areas, and implement changes as needed to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to the highest standards

The DOO for Point Avenue will be instrumental in driving the strategic operational direction of our group. The DOO will report directly to the COO and will oversee key departments including Human Resources, Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Administration. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the COO and Board of Managers (BOM) to set the strategic direction of the group. Translate the group's strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, and implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning
- Operations Management: Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission of the group
- Team Leadership: Directly manage the leadership of key departments, setting clear objectives and evaluating performance. Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the Company
- Human Resources: Oversee HR processes including recruitment, professional development, performance management, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance
- Research & Development: Support the R&D team in the development and implementation of innovative educational programs and services, ensuring they align with the Company's strategic objectives and market needs
- Marketing and Sales: Work with the marketing and sales teams to develop and implement strategies that increase market share and maximize revenues
- Customer Service: Ensure top-notch customer service, overseeing all policies, procedures, and team members to maintain high customer satisfaction rates
- Administrative Duties: Oversee all administrative functions, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Performance Metrics: Evaluate the success of the organization in reaching its goals. Monitor performance with tracking systems and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting

Yêu cầu
DOO of True North School:
- A minimum of a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Education Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred
- At least 10 years of senior leadership experience in an educational setting, with proven experience managing diverse teams
- Excellent leadership and team building skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and Vietnamese
- A deep commitment to education, with a passion for promoting bilingual and multicultural learning

- Proven experience as Director of Operations or relevant role in a similar industry
- Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
- Experience in fundraising will be a plus
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
