Market Analysis: Conducting market research to understand consumer preferences, industry trends, and competitor activities. This analysis will help in identifying opportunities and potential challenges in the domestic rice market.
Sales Planning: Developing comprehensive sales plans and setting realistic targets in alignment with the company's overall objectives. This involves forecasting sales volumes, setting pricing strategies, and determining distribution channels.
Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, including wholesalers, retailers, and distributors. You'll need to understand their needs, address any concerns, and negotiate contracts to secure sales agreements.
Team Leadership: Leading a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure they meet their targets. You'll be responsible for hiring, evaluating performance, and fostering a positive working environment within the sales team.
Sales Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring sales performance against targets and KPIs, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions as needed. You'll also prepare regular sales reports for management review, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Marketing Support: Collaborating with the marketing department to develop promotional campaigns, advertising materials, and sales collateral to support sales efforts. This may involve participating in trade shows, organizing product demonstrations, or sponsoring events to increase brand awareness.
Supply Chain Coordination: Working closely with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure adequate inventory levels to meet customer demand. You'll coordinate closely with these departments to optimize supply chain efficiency and minimize lead times.
Budget Management: Developing and managing the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve sales targets while controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
