Elementary English Teacher ( Giáo Viên Tiếng Anh Tiểu Học)

Job Purpose: To implement an innovative curriculum by providing stimulating lessonsfor children to master English;to nurture students' interest in English learning and to support students to make progress.
Reporting to: Program Manager
Other Key Relationship: Vietnamese or Foreign Teacherswho share the same teaching group; Homeroom teachers
Main Focus of the Job
Student Achievement:
To promotea high standard of work among studentsin a friendly, nurturing environment;
After grade 3, the students will be qualifiedfor STARTERS with the required shield number;
To effectively build up classroom routines and rulesto support primary children to be self-regulated students;
To promotethe Reading programme;
To work with colleagues and the administration board to implement activities that offer students a rich English environment after class.
Teaching
Be a contact point and providepastoral care for students in your responsibility;
Work creatively and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent lessons that are suitable for the children's learning styles and child psychology;
-Plan and implement extra-curricular opportunities to offer students an English language application environment outside the classroom;
Design teachingaids and effectively use them to make learningand teaching English more exciting and engaging;
Be responsible and creative in utilizing boards,[protected info] make English learning more effectively;
-Build strongrelationships with studentsand use them to enhance students' learning;
Be awareof the needs of students; plan lesson plansbased on suggested ones, actively adjust the lesson plans to meet the student's needs and to reach student's potentials, maintaining a high standardof expectations for students;
Have the ability to integrate technology to support teachingand learning;
Be willingto share good practices with other colleagues and engage in a professional learning community to improve the quality of learning English in the Program Department;
Ensure effectivecommunications with colleagues;
If required, attend activities, and trips relatingto students' learning
Assessment
Effectively providestudents with specificinformation on where they are and what they need to do to improve their learning (one-on-one session, comments, or feedback after teaching and learning session ...)
If needed,support students with appropriate intervention;
The end topic test with writtenand speaking YLE format is used to measure the knowledge and skills the students acquire.
*Administration
Complete and send post reports and reminders to parents in a timely manner;
Play a full part in all Professional Trainingsincluding staff meetings;
Be involvedin the organization of school events, assemblies, special focus week...
Maintain a good qualitydisplay in the classroom and public areas that relate to children's learning.

Professional Development
An annual performance appraisal called a Professional Development Plan ( PDP ) is used to supportnew recruiters developtheir professional development plan;
PDP is used to help newly recruiters to reach their continual development throughidentification and implementation of professional development plans.
