Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for Engineering & Quality Director (Attractive package, Open for Expat, ID14740):
Develop engineering, quality assurance, quality control, production engineering, continuous improvement
Lead/support major communication for both internal and external customers
Responsible for major supplier assessment and delivery requirements to ensure FB group product quality.
Define new product processes, designing and building fixtures/function gauges, creating process drawings and cycle time standards, controlling production tools for incoming and outgoing materials, and reviewing and confirming actual cycle time per each process, as well as problem solving from process and product.
Identify material issues through macro and/or microstructure analysis, as well as participating in new material evaluation when developing new suppliers and/or material grades. Create a database for all material defect cases.
Establish clear KPI, Goal, Bonus, and periodic evaluation criteria for each level of each team, leading to successful goal completion. Create probation programs for all levels of employees on the teams.
Coach and mentor engineering/quality departments to flawlessly lead and execute tasks.
Create a yearly department budget, control it, and execute it on time.
Oversee all major problems, issues, and product and process-related issues, and ensure that necessary corrective actions are implemented on time and correctly.
Support/define major project scope and lead until completion on time and on budget.
Assist customers in verifying issues with and/or competitors' products, as well as improving performance as needed.
Requirement
Male. Age: >40 years old
Have a Bachelor's Degree in a Manufacturing or Engineering or related field.
15 years of experience in the metal products industry or equivalent and more than 5 years of experience managing cross-functional teams
Priority is given to candidates with experience and knowledge of Lean 6 sigma Green Belt or higher
