Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for leading the company's EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective risk management, and the development of a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Reporting to the E&C Manager, the role serves as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor on EHS matters, partnering with leaders and employees to protect people, support business continuity, and promote a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace.
Key Responsibilities
1. EHS Governance & Compliance
• Lead compliance with Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Prevention & Fighting, Emergency Response, Environmental, and related regulatory requirements.
• Monitor legal updates, conduct compliance assessments, and ensure timely statutory reporting.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and standards.
2. Risk Management & Incident Prevention
• Lead workplace risk assessments and identify opportunities to eliminate or mitigate risks.
• Conduct investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Safety Culture & Employee Engagement
• Develop and execute the company's Safety Culture strategy to strengthen safety ownership and accountability at all levels.
• Partner with leaders to build visible safety leadership and embed safe behaviors into daily operations.
• Design and lead safety awareness campaigns, engagement activities, and behavioral safety programs.
• Promote proactive reporting of hazards, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Measure safety culture effectiveness and recommend improvement actions based on data and employee feedback.
4. Occupational Health & Wellbeing
• Lead occupational health and employee wellbeing initiatives, including health screening programs, emergency preparedness, and workplace health promotion.
• Oversee medical support arrangements and provide guidance on workplace health-related matters.
• Drive initiatives that support employees' physical, mental, and psychological wellbeing.
5. Training & Capability Building
• Develop and implement EHS training plans and competency frameworks.
• Facilitate or coordinate training related to EHS, Fire Safety, First Aid, and Emergency Response.
• Coach leaders and employees on EHS responsibilities and safety leadership practices.
6. Contractor & Vendor Management
• Establish and monitor EHS requirements for contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Participate in vendor assessments and ensure compliance with company EHS standards.
