Grand Hyatt Amman enjoys a prime location at the heart of Amman. Grand Hyatt Amman is only a 45-minute drive from Queen Alia International Airport. For meetings and conferences, the hotel is well equipped for hosting business and social gatherings of every description. The Role
The Events Manager will assist the Director of Events in managing the planning logistics of major conferences, conventions, incentives, meetings, concerts, exhibitions, weddings and social events so as to exceed customer expectations stimulate optimum revenue and enhance the reputation of the Grand Hyatt Amman
As an Events, you will be reporting directly to the Director of Sales and below are some of the Key Responsibilities:
· Handle customer and organizer planning, organization and delivery of events, conference and projects in a professional manner
· Maintain a close working relationship with client from the initial confirmation to onsite liaison between hotel and organizer
· Ensure that all agreements (sales contracts) follow the established hotel policies and procedures and are based on sound commercial judgments.
· Review catering files to ensure correct booking procedures are applied in relation to group room allocations, meeting set-up, caterings terms & contractual agreements
· Ensure that all credit and collection procedures that have been established by the hotel are implemented following the relevant credit policies.
· Maintain complete and supported records of all sales agreements, contract and quotes for the hotel as per Hyatt International Policies and Procedures
· Attend Sales events, as required
· Ensure that all events are carried out in an innovative and stylish fashion that reflects positively on the customers' event and remains a positive brand contact for Grand Hyatt Amman
· Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner
· Ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual as well as electronically is maintained at all times.
· Make sure that all meetings are well planned, efficient and results oriented.

Yêu cầu
Excellent communication skills across all mediums - presentation, telephone correspondence.
Bachelor's Degree.
Ambitious and eager to learn, grow and further develop own career.
Minimum of 1 year work experience as Events Manager in a luxury international brand hotel.
