Facility Engineer

A US publicly traded company in the Nasdaq stock market with approx. $2B market cap that serves a variety of HVAC end markets through 5 operating companies. The company has recently completed a large acquisition of a US privately owned company that manufactures HVAC Grills, Registers, and Diffusers (GRD) in Vietnam. The acquired company is a market leader in the GRD segment in the US market. The factory in Vietnam is located at Nhon Trach Industrial Park Zone 1 with 60,000 sqm and 1,500 employees.
We're looking for a Facility engineer responsible to ensures that the facilities equipment and machines are maintained properly and working correctly. Oversees the facilities maintenance program; identifies and analyzes equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions. Provides technical training to management and other team members. Coordinates work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants.
*** Responsibilities
• Gathering and analyzing data, blueprints, and reports.
• Determining facility and equipment specifications.
• Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
• Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout, various systems, and quality controls.
• Evaluating operational systems and facility infrastructure to ascertain and improve operational efficiencies.
• Developing processing plans and optimizing resource allocation.
• Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
• Coordinating and overseeing contractors performing maintenance activities.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
• Preparing reports and compliance documentation.
• Improve the process to reach high technical availability of machines as demands (Be a leader or member of improvement projects to improve safety conditions, reduce downtime, and increase technical availability).
• Troubleshooting and supporting technicians on troubleshooting (Receive escalation from PM/CM technicians then support them, collecting data, root cause analysis, define preventive actions).
• Control spare parts (Define spare part list, Control safety stock, consumption, and spare parts cost).
• Technical expert in new building construction and facilities system projects.
