Finance Manager

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for managing the Finance &Accounting team, he/she will become a partner for the BOM team in decision making as well as the smooth operations of the Company
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up Finance and Accounting process.
• Set up and develop the internal control procedures and policies.
• Responsible for the financial planning, management reporting and financial performance analyses, budget, forecast, cash flow management, credit control, tax planning and reporting.
• Achieve the timely recording of all transitions and the preparation of all financial reports,
• Manage monthly closing. Controls the flow of data into general ledger,
• Prepare monthly Management Report, Sales Report, Employee Utilization, Cash Flow Report,
• Maintain all corporate accounting records in accordance with established schedules,
• Ensure good preparation of all audit / review schedules and review of the books and records with an outside audit team that has been appointed by the BOM (Board of Management).
• Coordinate with tax authorities to ensure full compliance of financial reporting and data submission in accordance to Vietnam tax law and accounting regulations.
• Ensure that payment to vendors are reviewed, verified, and approved,
• Oversee, evaluate and propose financing options to the BOM.
• Coordinate applications and approval processes from banks upon acceptance of offer by the BOM.
• Protect corporate asset through sound accounting policies and procedures which include provision for insurance coverage, as required, and protection of business assets and loss prevention through internal control and internal auditing.
• Management of cash and other investments and bank relationship(s).
• Manage projection of revenue and expense forecasts on periodic basis along with monthly / quarterly forecasting and annual budget.
• Monitor projects cost, scrap and other expenses against project revenue to ensure they are within project budget and meeting project profitability targets.
• Establish adequate accounting procedures, policies and objectives.
• Maintain company Accounting book, make sure company's accounting practice comply with Vietnam Accounting Standard (VAS).
• Check and verify every accounting entry into SAP system, ensure all data was correctly enter, all classification meet with VAS/Tax Laws Standards.
• Review and advise on any overdue/over credit limit SO.
• Coordinate with General Manager to ensure then accuracy and timely manner of periodic sales reports.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Department to reconcile monthly inventory.
• Participate Quarterly physical stock taking.
• Prepare management reports and presentation as well as other special assignments as requested by BOM.
• Manage and add resource if needed and continuously improve the capability (through training needs analysis and hiring of people with the right skills and knowledge) and structure of the F&A team to meet business objectives.
• Other ad-hoc service tasks assigned by General Manager
