About the Role
· Level: Fresher / Junior
· Role Focus: We are looking for 01 Fresher/Junior QA / Test System Engineer for our internal test system project. This role focuses on QA and System Verification for both hardware and software (HW/SW).
· Project Context: Our team developed an internal test system used to validate hardware samples (IP cameras). In this role, your primary test target remains our internal test system itself-ensuring its hardware setup and software tools work reliably and accurately.
· Execution Focus: You will contribute mainly through Python scripting and tooling support, running verification scripts, log analysis, and system Failure Analysis (FA) (no advanced backend or test automation framework development required).
· Working Model: Office-based work is required. WFH policy: 1 day per week, strictly subject to current project milestones and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
1. HW/SW System Verification & QA Execution
· Perform hands-on QA and system verification across both hardware and software (HW/SW) components of our internal test system.
· Set up test environments with sample devices (IP cameras) and run verification scripts to validate system features, stability, and accuracy.
· Verify that the internal test system correctly validates IP camera samples according to technical specifications.
2. Python Scripting & Tooling Support
· Provide Python scripting and tooling support to assist with test execution, data collection, and daily verification tasks (no advanced backend or test automation framework development required).
· Maintain, tweak, and troubleshoot existing verification scripts under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
3. Log Analysis & System Failure Analysis (FA)
· Perform detailed log analysis and review test execution results to detect anomalies or unexpected system behaviors.
· Conduct first-level System Failure Analysis (FA) and troubleshooting to isolate whether issues stem from the test system software, scripts, or hardware/camera setup.
· Document test results, log findings, and update test-related technical documentation (in English) to report and escalate complex bugs to Senior
Developers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Experience Level: Fresher or Junior level, 6 months - 1 years of relevant experience.
· Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics/Telecommunications, or related fields.
· Core Technical Foundation: Solid foundation in Python scripting, log analysis, and system verification concepts (across both software and hardware).
· Language Requirements (Mandatory): Fluent in English speaking and listening (must be confident communicating directly in daily work).
· Mindset & Attitude: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, ownership, and willingness to work hands-on with both Python scripts and hardware devices (IP cameras/test setups).
· Working Model Commitment: Office-based work is required (WFH 1 day/week strictly subject to current project milestones and deliverables).
Nice to Have (Optional)
· Technical Plus: Hands-on understanding of MySQL and XML.
· Troubleshooting: Good hardware/software debugging and troubleshooting skills.
· English Documentation: Good English reading, writing, and technical documentation editing skills.
