Mô tả công việc
To greet the customer and identify his specific reservation.
To register the guest, ensuring that the necessary details are obtained, i.e. name in full, address, nationality, passport number, etc.
To allocate room according to reservations list, ensuring that this is what the guest has booked, both in terms of the room itself and the rate to be paid. Review the room rates, room location, and types of room.
Cooperate with GRO to complete guest check-in procedures.
To issue the key card/key.
Promptly notify housekeeping of all late check out, early check in and special requests.
Develop thorough knowledge of the software used in the Front Office.
Use proper telephone etiquette.
Follow the message handling procedures.
Get information about the daily activities and meetings taking place in the Building.
Handle every kind of requests and complaints of the guests.
Know cash handling procedures
Handle room changes according to availability.
Handle all inquiries of tenants and give all the information required.
Prepare all the necessary forms required to carry out the daily operation.
Change foreign currency based on the daily bank rate given by the Financial Controller.
Prepare the check out and billing for the tenants and guests.
Make reports to the accounting department.
Verify if all the expenses have been charged on the bills of the guest as well as the amount.
Complete guest checkout procedures.
Prepare the records upon checkout and check in.
Fill in the Room Reconciliation at the end of each day and send it to Accounting department.
Develop knowledge about other departments, their staffing, services and hours of operation in the Building.
Report any unusual occurrences and requests to his superior.
Follow all safety and emergency procedures and how to act upon them (Risk Management).
Follow established standard operating procedures
Give suggestions and comments to direct superior.
To liaise or alert bellman so that the guest's luggage is taken to his room and the key issued.
To update occupancy list, giving copies to hall porter and telephonist.
To complete office bulletin book.
Help to minimize wastage, neglect, breakage and mishandling of equipments and supplies.
Take full responsibility of tasks that has been assigned to her/him.
Control the hygiene and cleanliness of work area, equipment and material.
Apply strictly all safety and hygiene policy, regulation and procedures of the Building (HACCP).
To constantly adhere to the grooming standards of the Building.
To conduct herself/himself in a respectable way so as to provide a role model for other staff.
Perform other duties as maybe assigned.

Education: College graduate or college
Certification: Not required
Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Front Office (preferred but not required).
Other: Pleasant personality with good communications skills, informative and fluent in English.
