Main Objective or Summary of the Role:
"As the General Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring efficient production processes, resource allocation, and adherence to quality and compliance standards. You will play a key role in leading the factory towards achieving its strategic goals, including improving productivity, product quality, and cost control, while maintaining compliance with international standards."
1. Maintain and Improve Production Processes:
Lead and optimize cross-departmental processes including
purchasing, logistics, warehouse operations, quality control, material preparation, production, and packing.
2. Executing the Production Plan:
• Focus on proactive communication and problem-solving:
"Ensure smooth and timely execution of production plans by actively communicating with all departments and resolving any operational bottlenecks."
• Set, monitor, and achieve KPIs related to delivery timelines, cost efficiency, and product quality.
3. Deployment of the Production Plan:
• Refine "pre-production" wording to focus on readiness and risk mitigation:
"Conduct pre-production readiness meetings to ensure layout, resource allocation, and potential issues are anticipated and addressed before production."
4. Managing Overall Factory Operations:
• HR & People Management: "Develop and retain top talent by establishing clear recruitment processes, performance evaluation, and employee development plans. Ensure compliance with labor laws and foster a positive work environment."
• Operations and Compliance: "Ensure all departments follow ISO standards, customer requirements, and internal company procedures."
5. Product Development Skills:

- MANDATORY: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in garment manufacturing at a senior management level (Factory Manager / General Manager).
- Deep understanding of sewing line management, production planning, quality control (QC/QA), and export compliance.
- Proven experience in handling BSCI, SMETA, ISO, WRAP audits.
- Strong ability to optimize production costs, sewing line efficiency, and order fulfillment.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
