JOB DESCRIPTION
Basic Job Functions:
Provides learning-oriented human resources support as
an HR Intern at the Dong Nam Manufacturing site.
The role is designed to help the intern gain practical
exposure, develop foundational HR skills, and understand real-world HR
operations through hands-on participation in training coordination, HR
communications, English enhancement programs, and recruitment support
activities under close supervision and guidance of assigned HR professionals.
The position focuses on learning, skill development,
and administrative support, while ensuring alignment with Vietnamese
regulations, company policies, and First Solar's Core Values and Behaviors.
Interns will participate in structured onboarding, mentoring, and on-the-job
learning activities to support their academic and professional development.
Essential
Functions & Responsibilities

Training and development coordination
-
Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating training programs
under supervision.

Support preparation of training rooms, materials, attendance
tracking, and logistics.

Assist in communicating training announcements and collecting
participant feedback.

Support data entry, record maintenance, and preparation of basic
training reports/dashboards.

Workplace English Enhancement Program (WEEP)
-
Participate as a supporting member of the WEEP organizing team.

Assist in implementing learning activities and tracking
participation progress.

Follow up with participants and escalate issues to HR coordinators
when needed.

Support coordination with vendors and preparation of summary
reports.

Talent Acquisition Support (as needed)

Support recruitment activities through administrative and
coordination tasks.

Assist in posting job advertisements, screening CVs based on
predefined criteria.

Support interview logistics (scheduling interviews, preparing
interview materials, taking notes as assigned).

Assist in collecting candidate documents and supporting onboarding
coordination under HR supervision.

Learn about recruitment processes, labor compliance, and hiring
workflows through guided participation.

HR Communication Support

Assist in gathering HR updates and preparing internal
communication drafts.

Support design and publication of HR newsletters and internal
content.

Assist in preparing posts for internal platforms and company
fanpage after approval.

Learn and apply HR branding and communication guidelines.
·
Perform other HR-related learning and support tasks as assigned by
the direct manager, consistent with internship objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
·
No prior experience required.
·
Students will be trained on-the-job, coached by HR professionals,
and guided through standardized processes, tools, and systems.
Education:
·
3rd-year or 4th-year university student, or fresh graduate
majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications,
Education, or related fields.
·
Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in HR, especially in
Training, HR Communications, or Talent Acquisition.
Required
Skills:
·
Professional business speaking and written fluency in English.
·
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
·
Creative mindset with a good sense of visual aesthetics;
experience using Canva or Adobe tools (Photoshop/Illustrator) is an advantage.
·
Ability to prioritize workload, stay organized, and adapt to a
fast-paced environment.
·
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively
with associates at all levels.
·
Willingness to learn, open to feedback, proactive, and
detail-oriented.
