Project Overview
PMO Intern will support a large-scale ERP implementation project. The project involves multiple stakeholders, including IT, Business teams, and an external implementation partner, and covers activities from system setup, data migration, testing, cutover, to go-live and hyper care.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real experience in enterprise IT project management and PMO practices.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Tracking
Support PMO in tracking project plans, milestones, tasks, and dependencies
Maintain and update action items, issue logs, and risk registers
Follow up with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely task completion
Assist in monitoring project progress against timeline and scope
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including:
Meeting Minutes (MoM)
Weekly / bi-weekly project status reports
Decision and change logs
Support consolidation of inputs from different workstreams (IT, Finance, Operations, Vendor)
Ensure documentation is properly stored and version-controlled
Meeting & Communication Support
Schedule meetings and send calendar invitations
Prepare meeting agendas and presentation materials
Capture discussions, decisions, and action items during meetings
Support communication between Business users, IT teams, and external consultants
Governance & Go-Live Support
Support PMO in enforcing basic project governance (scope, timeline, approvals)
Help collect business confirmations and signoffs
Support post go-live hyper care tracking and handover documentation
Required Qualifications
Final-year student or fresh graduate in:
Business Administration
Information Systems
Accounting, Finance, or related fields
Basic understanding of IT projects
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication in English
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and proactive
Willingness to learn and work with multiple stakeholders
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
Exposure to ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Dynamics, etc.)
Experience with project documentation or internships related to IT or operations
Familiarity with basic project management concepts (timeline, scope, risks)
