The Head of Marketing is responsible for the leadership, development and engagement of NAB's Marketing capability within the NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam. The role provides people leadership across a diverse team of marketing technology, personalisation, marketing data, analytics, governance and operational specialists, ensuring the capability has the skills, capacity, culture and leadership required to support Group Marketing's strategic objectives. Working closely with functional leaders in Australia, the Head of Marketing, Vietnam creates a high-performing environment that attracts, develops and retains talent, drives capability uplift, supports workforce planning and enables delivery teams to successfully execute against business priorities.
People Leadership
• Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary marketing capability within NAB Vietnam.
• Create a culture aligned to NAB's values and leadership expectations.
• Drive colleague engagement, wellbeing, performance and development.
• Coach and develop leaders and individual contributors.
• Ensure effective performance management and succession planning.
• Build leadership capability across the management team.
• Foster collaboration across teams, functions and geographies.
Capability Development
• Build sustainable capability across marketing technology, personalisation, analytics, data engineering and governance disciplines.
• Partner with Australian functional leaders to understand future capability requirements.
• Develop workforce plans aligned to strategic business priorities.
• Drive learning, accreditation and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure teams maintain contemporary industry knowledge and skills.
Talent Management
• Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities for the Vietnam Marketing team.
• Establish talent pipelines for critical skill areas.
• Support onboarding and integration of new employees.
• Drive retention strategies for key talent and specialist roles.
• Maintain a strong employer brand within the Vietnam market
Workforce Planning & Resource Management
• Manage team structures and organisational effectiveness. Ensure appropriate capacity exists to support business demand.
• Monitor workforce trends, utilisation and capability gaps.
• Partner with Australian leaders on growth planning and organisational design activities.
Culture & Employee Experience
• Create an inclusive, engaged and high-performing workplace culture.
• Drive recognition and reward practices.
• Promote collaboration between Vietnam and Australian teams.
• Champion employee wellbeing and flexible ways of working.
• Support organisational change and transformation initiatives.
Governance & Risk
• Ensure all people leadership practices comply with NAB policies and standards.
