We are looking for an experienced SEO Execution Specialist to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in search engine optimization and a passion for enhancing online visibility and driving organic traffic within the retail and hospitality industry. You will be responsible for implementing SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, marketing analytics and optimizing our digital content to maximize our online presence.
Principal Responsibilities:
Perform keyword research and implement SEO best practices across web pages.
Optimize website content, meta tags, URLs, and internal linking structures for improved search engine performance.
Publish and manage content using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other CMS platforms
Integrate and push schema markup through the CMS
Ensure content and web elements are accessible, meeting WCAG standards.
Optimize images with alt tags, use descriptive URLs, and enhance overall accessibility.
Work closely with the web development team to implement technical SEO recommendations, such as site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, etc.
Conduct regular website audits to identify technical issues, crawl errors, and indexing issues, and implement solutions to improve site performance and user experience.
Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders on keyword performance, content optimizations, and opportunities for improvement.
Experience with Search Console and BrightEdge is a plus.
Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to our website and digital platforms.
Perform comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
Optimize website content, including landing pages, product descriptions, and blog posts, for targeted keywords and user experience.
Conduct technical SEO audits and provide recommendations to enhance website performance, including site speed, mobile responsiveness, and indexing.
Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital marketing initiatives.
Prepare regular reports on SEO performance metrics, insights, and strategies for improvement.
Create a strategy around off page SEO and execute the same.
Regularly monitor competitors and provide inputs to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience in SEO, preferably in the retail or hospitality sector.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding of on-page and off-page SEO, technical SEO, and local SEO practices.
Proficient in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of HTML/CSS or experience working with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
Experience with paid search (SEM) and social media marketing is a plus.
