Key Responsibilities
As a Research Assistant, you will:
Collaborate with project teams to design and execute research and consultancy projects across various sectors;
Assist senior researchers and analysts in preparing research proposals, literature reviews, and project documentation;
Support the development and testing of survey instruments, including questionnaires and data collection tools;
Coordinate and participate in fieldwork activities, ensuring high-quality data collection in alignment with project goals;
Provide logistical support during field missions, including stakeholder coordination and enumerator management;
Process and analyze quantitative data using STATA;
Process and analyze qualitative data;
Prepare data visualizations, summaries, policy briefs and reports to present findings effectively.
Who You Are
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, econometrics, social sciences or a related field.
Strong foundation in quantitative methods, with coursework in economics, mathematics, and statistics as an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication in English and Vietnamese.
A self-motivated and collaborative mindset.
A passion for economic research and development work.
Flexibility to adapt to tight deadlines and travel schedules across Vietnam for fieldwork.
