The Human Resources Director is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within the organisation. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organisation's objectives and promote a positive work culture. The HR Director serves as a trusted advisor to senior management on human capital matters and ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning:
* Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that support the organization's goals and objectives.
* Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with business objectives and promote a high-performance culture.
* Anticipate and address future HR needs and trends to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.

Talent Acquisition and Management:
* Lead the recruitment and selection process to attract qualified candidates and ensure a diverse talent pool.
* Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees into the organization.
* Oversee performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.

Employee Relations and Engagement:
* Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations initiatives, conflict resolution, and communication strategies.
* Implement programs to promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
* Address employee concerns and grievances in a fair and timely manner, ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable laws.

Compensation and Benefits Administration:
* Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and equity within the organization.
* Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis of compensation and benefits practices to remain competitive in the market.
* Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

HR Compliance and Risk Management:
* Stay abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate HR-related risks and ensure a safe and inclusive work environment.
* Partner with legal counsel as needed to address complex employment law matters and mitigate legal risks.

HR Metrics and Reporting:
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
* Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on HR metrics, trends, and accomplishments.
* Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of HR processes and practices.
Profile
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
* SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification highly desirable.
* Proven experience (>10 years) in a senior HR leadership role.
* Deep understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory compliance requirements.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute HR strategies that drive business results.
* Experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
