Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Import - Export Manager (EPE, $2000, ID19966)
Plan, organize, implement, and supervise all import and export activities related to raw materials, machinery, and finished goods supporting production and export operations.
Manage and control all customs documentation and procedures, particularly for processing and export manufacturing types, including consumption norms management, customs liquidation reports, and customs finalization procedures.
Oversee and strictly control the application process for Certificates of Origin (C/O) to ensure eligibility for preferential tariff treatment under Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
Handle various types of Certificates of Origin, including:
Preferential C/O such as Form E, Form AANZ
Specific C/O such as Form EUR.1
Non-preferential C/O such as Form B and Form VN
Review, verify, and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accuracy for customs declarations, raw material consumption calculation, and processing contract settlement.
Coordinate and communicate directly with overseas customers, suppliers, logistics providers, customs authorities, and relevant government agencies.
Monitor import-export costs, shipping schedules, and logistics performance to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
Update and ensure compliance with customs laws, trade regulations, and Free Trade Agreements related to import and export activities.
Lead and manage the Import Export team, assign tasks, supervise performance, and provide training when necessary.
Prepare periodic reports related to import-export activities, customs settlement, and compliance status for management.
Requirement
Male or Female, under 45 years old.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position within an Export Processing Enterprise (EPE) manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience in preparing and managing Certificate of Origin (C/O) documentation.
Experience in preparing customs settlement and finalization reports.
Proficient in either Chinese or English, with strong communication skills in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
