Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for an Import-Export Manager (Mechanical/ Electronics, $850, ID 21436)
Outbound Logistics Management (Export - 50%):
Acquire, evaluate, and negotiate competitive freight agreements with global forwarding networks and ocean carriers.
Prepare and validate standard maritime documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, VGM, and SI) to ensure frictionless border crossings.
Coordinate container loading schedules and organize port-to-port transportation.
Audit and oversee customs clearance processing managed by 3PL partners for shipments bound for Europe.
Inbound Logistics Management (Import - 50%):
Monitor, audit, and secure commercial shipping documents for materials imported from China.
Coordinate with customs brokers to accelerate import clearance processes.
Manage haulage and coordinate transport schedules to support warehouse unloading operations.
Procurement Support:
Maintain a high-level operational understanding of
purchasing functions to ensure department cross-coverage and continuous flow of raw materials.
Male or Female, aged 26-40.
Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Import & Export, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Import & Export operations within precision engineering, electronics, or electronic components manufacturing companies.
Solid knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and customs declaration processes.
Hands-on experience in sea freight import and export operations.
Good understanding of purchasing/procurement processes and supplier coordination.
Fluent in English with strong proficiency in all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
