Job summary
• Create standard work instructions (SOPs) and train for operator.
• Define processes and evaluate DL, UPH, and UPPH.
• Evaluate tools and consumeable materials used in the production line.
• Responsible for drawing detailed station layouts and production line layouts.
• Responsible for evaluating and verifying materials and the use of auxiliary materials in production from NPI and MP.
• Responsible for maintaining basic routing for MES and ERP system projects.
• Responsible for improving production issues and line operations to optimize resources.
• Responsible for improving UPH and streamlining personnel.
Key responsibility
• Find ways to reduce waste and improve performance, maximizing efficiency.
• Calculate product capacity and ensure the capability to meet the demand.
• Define production allowances and procedures.
• Define supporting function processes (Material flow and Shipping) to support HW validation and layout, space, installation.
• Validate headcount logic, capacity, and efficiency for supporting functions.
• Design layout detail follow process.
• Design overall layout of Factory to make good flow.
• Continuously improve productivity and efficiency, optimizing capacity, headcount, and ergonomics, and improving quality.
• Responsible for assembly line design/configuration and line layout for end-to-end production, including determining the number of people and hardware.
• Perform hand time and capacity calculations.
• Design ergonomic workstations and line standardization.
• Define production processes.
• Drive productivity improvements and end-to-end process optimization, including capacity, headcount, ergonomics, and quality improvements.
• Create MIS and packaging documentation to define and describe the final assembly and packing process and solution.
• Sustain and improve main KPIs: productivity improvement, UPD, LBE, and ergonomic scores.
• Coach and oversee the work of IE technicians.
