Position Summary
The School Assistant supports the daily operations of the school by assisting academic staff, coordinating student services, and ensuring a smooth and positive learning environment. This role involves administrative support, student supervision, and operational coordination as well as assisting the LPM.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
Assist with student registration and onboarding procedures.
Prepare class suppliments and classroom setup.
Maintain attendance records and student files using LTL's system.
Support scheduling of classes, activities, and consultations.
Handle basic inquiries from students and parents.
Other tasks from the LPM.
Student Support
Provide guidance to students regarding school rules and policies.
Assist with student check-in and orientation.
Monitor student attendance and punctuality.
Support students with basic academic or accommodation concerns.
Foster a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
Junior Program Assistant (if applicable)
Supervise minors during classes, breaks, and activities.
Ensure students follow safety and behavior guidelines.
Conduct headcounts during outings and activities.
Assist in implementing safeguarding policies.
Activity & Event Coordination
Support organization of cultural activities and school events.
Coordinate student participation based on arrival and departure schedules.
Assist in transportation arrangements when required.
Operational Support
Work closely with the LMP and report directly to the LPM.
Ensure we have enough teachers and accommodation vendors for students.
Report any incidents, safety concerns, or student issues.
Assist in emergency procedures when necessary.
Support communication between teachers, students, and management.
Safeguarding & Professional Conduct
Maintain professional boundaries with students at all times.
Follow the school's child protection and safeguarding policies.
Ensure confidentiality of student information.
Immediately report any incidents or concerns to the designated safeguarding officer.
Yêu cầu
Bachelor's degree (Education, Languages, or related field preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Organized, responsible, and proactive attitude.
Experience working with minors is preferred (for junior programs).
Language proficiency depending on school location (e.g., English, Japanese, etc.).
Experience in education administration.
Event coordination experience.
Basic first aid knowledge.
Familiarity with student management systems.
