Overall purpose of the job:
We are seeking technically skilled candidates with good problem-solving abilities for the position of IT Support. As an IT Support, you will be the point of contact for all IT-related questions at the user level. Your responsibilities include responding to user needs in a timely manner, monitoring the status of network devices and system, occasionally handling installations of network and camera cabling, monitoring and fixing issues related to the wired/wireless networks, security camera systems, phone systems, and door access systems
MAIN DUTIES
1. Provide timely support for hardware and software issues, resolving all requests within defined SLA
2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Repair or replace damaged computer hardware. If issue is out of technical knowledge or lacking system privileged, escalate to higher/senior level
3. Prepare and set up computers and other IT equipment for new employees and provide training on the proper use of devices and company systems.
4. Manage IT assets (laptops, desktops). Monthly report to direct manager on the current state of IT assets. Proactively propose solution to improve IT asset quality and performance.
5. Monitor and maintain IT hardware & system and report to manager immediately when issue happens. Proactively suggest to manager solutions to fix future system/network issues or suggest system/network upgrade with reasonable cost
6. Provide basic level of support in IT System (create account, reset password, etc.)
7. Setup, fix camera, access system issue together with other IT colleagues.
8. Other tasks assigned by direct manager.
CRITERIA FOR RECRUITMENT
1. Education and Skill:
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration or related field
· Windows OS, Microsoft Office, PC/laptop setup, printer support, LAN/Wi-Fi, TCP/IP
· Basic English; able to read IT documents and communicate basic support topics
· Service & user support mindset, communication, patience, problem-solving, careful documentation,
proactive follow-up
2. Experience
· 1-3 years of experience in IT support/helpdesk/technical support (open for Fresh graduate)
