The Job
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure Java-based backend systems.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product owners.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and improve application performance and reliability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
Your Skills and Experience
Must-Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Java development using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of Java Core, OOP principles, Thread, Asynchronous, and Design Patterns.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Good understanding of RESTful API design, authentication mechanisms (JWT, OAuth2).
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiar with Git for version control, including branching strategies (Git Flow, trunk-based), conflict resolution, and efficient commit practices.
- Experienced with GitLab CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), caching systems (Redis),
- Experience in Elastic Search, Logtash, Kibana...
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure.
