Position Purpose:

This position is mainly responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions that integrate Colgate's core SAP applications in the Colgate's world, and the electronic collaboration with Colgate trading partners. Responsible for implementing and maintaining technology integrations, with opportunity to partner with Global Information Technology when implementing complex, and more custom scenarios. Serve as an ongoing technical support contact who develops and maintains relationships with third-party organizations. Provide escalation, research and resolution oversight with appropriate teams when integration issues are reported.

Main responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into integration specifications, mappings, and transactions
Perform the analysis, design, development and testing of platform integration solutions in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards
Supports critical and highly complex partner integration initiatives;
Support day to day business requirements according to Global SLA (Service Level Agreement)
Apply conceptual knowledge of business processes, and technology to integrate on-premise and cloud solutions
Deliver, and support integration solutions to solve business requirements considering priorities and resources
Partner with internal Information Technology groups, business partners, customers and external resources to deliver platform integration solutions
Participate, and contribute in special projects or initiatives such as institutional programs, committees and others Experiences by Competency

Experience required:

A proven track record of performance with at least 5 years developing, configuring and implementing IT solutions to integrate applications supporting end-to-end processes for the Consumer Goods, Retail or Manufacturing environment
Technical knowledge with SAP ABAP/ALE Idocs, and/or SAP Process Integrator (PI), SAP Cloud (CPI), or other middleware (e.g. Webmethods)
Knowledge of any of the following standards XML, EDIFACT/X12, JSON, SAP Idocs
Good oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms and business needs in technical specifications
Strong ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, technologies, individuals and cultures

Technical Knowledge:

SAP ABAP, development and implementation, (Analyzing issues, Debugging and configurations)
Desirable experience implementing/supporting IT solutions for Supply Chain/Logistics processes (SAP MM,LE)
Middleware Software knowledge, (Process Integrator, Cloud, WebMethods or similar)
EDI/XML/JSON standards, Knowledge to understand and implement EDI interfaces (EDIFACT, X12 )
