We are looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Leader to join our team! This role effectively leads preventive maintenance, repair, continuous improvement and predictive maintenance. Also, it contributes to business and plant results while assuring an efficient maintenance cost and positive employee relations. The Leader Maintenance works within a structure that requires continuous learning, considerable interaction with other team members as well as production units and support functions, also guides and empowers teams in the implementation of the plant strategy.
What you will do
- Accountable for the quality and efficiency of the Maintenance department, and its ability to deliver high levels of service to the plant
- Management of personnel strategies, in relation to Electrical Mechanics, obtaining better results from AU, UPDT, MTBF and MTTR, and reduction of machine failures, according to AE Model indicators.
- Ensure compliance with policies/procedures for staffing, shift schedule, vacation scheduling, and training to meet business needs
- Manage the development and implementation of the daily maintenance schedule in a way that ensures high equipment availability and service
- Manage the budget of the maintenance accounts for spare parts and operating supplies of the plant, controlling that the total expenses are meeting the objective of variable cost per ton.Accountable for developing and managing the maintenance budget
- Identify, recommend and implement both maintenance and manufacturing cost reduction programs
- Support the implementation of projects assigned to the area on Funding the Growth (FTG), Reimagined Strategy Projects, Capital Equipment Budget (CEB), continuous improvement.Make recommendations on capital budgets
- Communicate and implement the local Supply Chain vision, mission, strategy and objectives within the plant
- Ensure effective communication within the teams
- Empower team members by way of training, information sharing, coaching, feedback, appraisals and delegation, to ensure the development of people, teams and capabilities
- Accountable for adhering to CP, local and governmental guidelines related to EHS, Quality and Regulatory
- Be a facilitator / sponsor of the line or of autonomous groups of the plant.
- Implementation Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing)
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Complies with all policies and standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Industrial Mechanical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Electrical Mechanics
- Solid experience within a Maintenance Department in a highly automated Production Environment
- Solid experience in similar business field}
- Experience with TPM or similar
- Proficient in English.
- Understanding of financial measures
- Presentation skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) or Google Suite (docs, slides, sheets).
- SAP system
