Scope of Responsibility:

The Material Planning Officer is responsible for implementing inventory strategies/ SMI (Supplier Managed Inventory) for raw & packaging materials and handling inbound supplier activity to accommodate the production scheduling while minimizing SLOB (Slow-moving and Obsolete).

Key activities include:

Supplier interface - Develop relationship with all material suppliers to establish regular ordering process and maintain optimal in-stock levels
Alert Management - Use available SAP tools to identify and mitigate product shortages or over-production. Align with SNP & Production planning teams to set priorities and adjust plans
Internal Partnership - work closely with the Production Planning to identify changes in schedule and address material shortage concerns. Collaborate with the Procurement team to identify supplier gaps and drive future efficiencies.
100% System Driven Planning - support quarterly master data upkeep and SAP utilization processes to drive efficient automated planning processes. Define MRP data such as Safety Stock, MOQ, lot size strategy to improve efficiencies and minimize cost and waste while maintaining high customer service levels
Meet budgetary goals - Handle Raw and Packaging inventory to meet Production schedule while maintaining right size inventory.
New product execution - Support Technical, SNP and Operation teams to ensure preparedness and timely execution of new product initiatives.

Key interfaces are Production Planning, Operations, Equipment, Quality, Procurement, Warehouse

What we require:

University degree in Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or other related fields.
English language proficiency
Advance level with office tools (MS Office or Google Suites)

What we prefer:

Your practical experience in supply chain related fields
Strong technical knowledge and experience with SAP or other ERP system tools.
Skills of basic coding/ data analytics.
Passion for continuous learning and embracing new technology
