About The Role
We are seeking a Junior Accountant, based in Vietnam, to support the finance operations of multiple software
businesses across Australia, New Zealand, North America, Japan and other regions.
This role is designed for individuals who enjoy using technology to solve problems, improve processes, and
remove manual work. While the role includes core accounting and transactional responsibilities, it is first and
foremost an AI-forward role: we expect you to actively use AI and automation to reduce manual work, not simply
be aware of it.
You will work day to day with the Chief Accountant and alongside the
Finance Managers and other Junior
Accountants across a portfolio of software companies, supporting month-end close, financial operations,
process improvement, and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Finance Operations
Process supplier invoices and accounts payable transactions
Manage customer invoicing and support collections activities
Prepare bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Process employee expense claims and support payroll administration activities
Participate in month-end close activities across multiple business units
Prepare journals, accruals, and supporting schedules
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

Collaborate with Finance Managers and operational leaders across regions
Support audit requests, statutory compliance activities, and tax filing preparation
Assist with data collection, reporting support, and recurring finance schedules
Help create consistency in transactional processes across business units
AI, Automation & Continuous Improvement
Use AI tools and the wider Microsoft 365 suite to improve day-to-day productivity
Identify repetitive processes suitable for automation or standardisation
Assist in building and maintaining finance process documentation
Support workflow automation and system improvement initiatives
Challenge existing processes and recommend smarter ways of working
Use AI tools to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency
