Job Description - Junior Trust Accountant
Position: Junior Trust Accountant
Reports to: Senior Accountant / Financial Controller
Location: Sala Sala Urban Area, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - office-based during the two-month probation period, then hybrid working arrangement.
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Trust Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting and trust accounting operations of our Australian strata management business.
This role will primarily focus on invoice processing, accounts payable, payment runs, opening balance entries and general accounting support. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Accountant and assist with other accounting and trust-related tasks as required.
Working Arrangement
This role is office-based during the two-month probation period. Following successful completion of probation, the employee will be eligible to work under a hybrid working arrangement, subject to company policy and operational requirements.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: VND 14,000,000-16,000,000 gross per month, depending on experience and capability.
Annual leave: 12 days of paid annual leave per year.

Salary will be reviewed in line with the employee's performance, demonstrated technical capability, increased level of responsibility and contribution to the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
Process and enter supplier invoices accurately and on time.
Review invoice information and supporting documentation before processing.
Maintain accurate Accounts Payable (AP) records and assist with AP reconciliations.
Prepare and process payment runs for review and approval.
Enter and verify opening balances for newly onboarded strata plans/properties.
Maintain accurate accounting records within the company's trust accounting and financial systems.
Assist with bank, supplier and other account reconciliations as required.
Investigate and follow up on invoice or payment discrepancies.
Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and audit trails for transactions.
Assist the Senior Accountant with trust accounting activities, reconciliations, reporting and other accounting tasks.
Support month-end and other periodic accounting processes as required.
Assist with ad-hoc accounting, audit and financial administration tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant or Financial Controller.
Ensure work is completed accurately and in accordance with internal procedures and relevant trust accounting requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Approximately 1-2 years of accounting experience is preferred; strong fresh graduates may also be considered.
Experience with Accounts Payable, invoice processing or payment runs is an advantage.
Experience in Australian accounting, property/strata accounting or trust accounting is advantageous but not essential.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
Comfortable working with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
