Mô tả công việc
Main Duties
Customer Service
• Provides a courteous and professional service at all times.
• Handles guest and associate enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst providing a prompt follow-up.
• Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
Operational
• Ensures that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate.
• Works closely with other associates in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of hotel guests.
• Work in a supportive and flexible manner with other departments.
• Washing, drying, folding, pressing, and sorting linen for the hotel linens and guest laundry.
• Safely handle, transport clean linen and guest laundry as per guest instruction.
• Safe storage and use of laundry cleaning agents including correct cleaning agents and dilution used in correct quantities for each task.
• Inspect and identifies linen items that require replacement.
• Reports machinery that requires repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Responds to requests from guests, Team Leader or management in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintains linen cart and supplies neat and organized to department standards.
• Maintains security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day.
• Reporting missing articles, damage or mechanical problems and turn in articles left in room to Laundry Team Leader.
• Responds quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner. Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
• Ensures all guest personal clothing and laundry items are labeled, count, sorted and check when receiving and before returning to the guest.
• Ensure that machine and work are properly clean before and after work.
Other standard responsibilities
• Complies to the company policies.
• Works within all pre-set budgetary limits.
• Takes on other tasks in addition of the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.
• Develops and updates policies and manuals, as related to the division/department, for implementation in the field, while ensuring compliance to the same for consistency across the group.
• Actively participates in and leads recruitment and talent development for the division/department, to meet both current and future needs
• Is a "brand ambassador" always and ensures brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.
• Models the company's culture, vision, mission and core values at all times.
Others
• Ensures high standards of personal presentation, grooming and hygiene.
• Exercises responsible behaviour at all time and positively representing the hotel and Hyatt International.
• Responds to changes in the Laundry function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
• Understands and strictly adheres to Rules and Regulations established in the Associate Handbook and the hotel's policies concerning fire, hygiene, health and safety.
• Attends learning sessions and meetings as and when required.
• Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION
High school or equivalent education required.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 12 months of prior experience as a Laundry Attendant.
