Lead Technical Raw Materials Developer - Hardlines

Who You Are:
- University/College Degree in Raw Materials or Furniture Manufacturing or proven industry experience
5+ years in the furniture industry with a working knowledge of hardline materials (wood, metal, stone etc.)
- Experience working directly for casegoods furniture manufacturers and/or paint suppliers
- Strong knowledge of development techniques for building the most appropriate stain or finish formulas and application methods.
- Strong technical knowledge gained in a manufacturing environment covering all areas of materials from wood, metal, stone and other hard material construction and finishes
- Strong knowledge of industry testing standards/test reports
- Strong knowledge of cross-functional team accountabilities and requirements, including design, sourcing, and quality assurance
- Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic workflow
- To maintain current knowledge on vendors and industry developments to deliver material and finish technical innovation opportunities to set Article apart from its competitors
- A deep interest in modern furniture, décor and interior design
- A clear understanding of critical path or Go-To-Market methodology with the ability to create Time and Action (T&A) calendars to support workflow
- Familiar with Wrike or similar Project Management or PLM tools
