Legal Assistant

1. Licensing:
- Collect licensing information & documents from relevant stakeholders to prepare for the licensing application following instructions from line manager.
- Arrange the filing of licensing documents following line-manager's instructions.
2. Legal Document Review & Drafting
- Review simple documents with support from line manager;
- Assist in checking legal documents;
- Follow Legal team's templates;
- Arrange the filing of legal documents & contracts following line-manager's instructions.
3. Legal Update & Advice
- Research and list down applicable laws governing a particular matter;
- Summarize relevant provisions in new laws following instructions from line manager.
4. Cross-functional Coordination & Support
- Provide legal information & documents as per line manager's instructions.
5. Legal & Compliance Training
- Attend trainings;
- Support the organization of trainings.
6. Corporate secretary
- Maintain & ensure the safety of company seals & critical corporate documents.
7. Insurance management
- Support the filing of insurance documents;
- Collect necessary data to arrange for insurance subscription for new stores or insurance renewal for existing stores.
- Provide relevant insurance documents when required by relevant teams.
8. Others:
- Consolidate information/documents from relevant departments to prepare reports to be submitted to authorities (investment reports, reports on retailing activities, environment protection reports, etc);
- Translate documents from Vietnamese to English and vice versa;
- Other tasks when being assigned from time to time by line manager.
