Manager, Information Technology (IT)

Job Responsibilities
The primary role of the IT Manager is to plan, direct, co-ordinate and implement the information technology for PARKROYAL Serviced Suites Hanoi, which will include the infrastructures, applications and operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop and spearhead the IT infrastructure and support the extensive operation systems and network.
Ensures that IT systems are operating smoothly through implementation of effective maintenance programs, installations of antivirus kits and protection of network security.
Source, evaluate and recommend IT systems for purchase and upgrade.
Develop request for proposal (RFP), tender documents for major IT projects including IT-related sub-contractor works, performance testing, short listing of suppliers, and recommending the supplier to go with.
Monitor the operational efficiency of the IT systems and take appropriate remedial measures to correct systems inadequacies, etc.
Prepare IT annual budgets that will include capital expenditure for IT, purchases of new software, updates, training requirements, etc.
Other Responsibilities
Supports the Mission, Purpose and Values of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
Complies with all relevant Workplace Safety & Health practices and maintains a safe workplace for all associates.
Adheres to grooming and hygiene standards set by the Hotel.
Exercises responsible behaviour at all times to uphold the image and reputation of the Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Hotel and department.
Ensures that the Hotel's properties and facilities are protected and are kept in good working condition. Reports any loss or damage to the Hotel's properties and facilities promptly and appropriately.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
