Responsibilities
Set and drive the overarching strategy for how Google manages governance and risk at the market level.
Develop a comprehensive framework that ensures market-level risks and issues receive appropriate oversight and escalation to regional and global stakeholders.
Lead the implementation of this framework, ensuring its adoption and effectiveness across all relevant market and regional teams.
Partner with internal teams to influence and create a coordinated approach to define, enhance, and maintain governance processes on an international scale.
Educate and equip leaders across various functions to effectively oversee market-level activities and manage risks.

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in governance or risk management (business process and finance controls) in a multinational organization.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in finance/accounting, with a proven track record of success in fast-paced, international settings.
Motivated team player with excellent presentation skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and expertise in navigating cross-border complexities and governance requirements.
Excellent communicator and collaborator, adept at influencing senior leaders and driving cross-functional initiatives.
Results-oriented problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and a passion for process improvement.
