Reporting line: Finance Controller, Animal Nutrition APAC
Working Location: ADM VN Office, Quarter 1B, An Phu, Thuan An, Binh Duong 820000, Vietnam
Purpose:
Management of the Finance and accounting processes and application of the controls and compliance.
Continuous improvement in the areas of financial accounting and controlling,
Monthly close process
This also includes Business and Financial analysis, communication with stakeholders, and a strong Business partnership with local management
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
Ensure that policies and procedures set by ADM are implemented and internal controls are operating effectively.
Directly accountable for all financial information sent to the Country General Manager and Corporate Office regarding accuracy and detail.
Ensure compliance with local accounting (Vietnam GAAP), tax and legal regulations (VAS) as well as the US GAAP group standards. IFRS would be an asset.
Develop and monitor all financial systems to improve and streamline procedures.
Attend and actively participate in Department Head meetings, respecting the confidentiality of issues that may be discussed.
Engage with Department Managers to develop effective measures to enhance their cost control.
Ensuring that all Managers have complete and equal input.
Drive functional excellence through standardization of processes and continuous development of team members, ensuring agility to keep up with business needs/changes
Manage a team of accountants across multiple locations in Vietnam/Cambodia
Ensure compliance with SOX
Other ad-hoc activities, as required
