Mô tả công việc

This role is responsible to provide Material Management functional leadership to tesa Haiphong organization. The incumbent is a member of the Plant Management Team.

Responsible for managing all supply chain activities
The main target is to optimize service and inventory levels as well as costs
Responsible for production scheduling, raw material planning as well as customer service
Responsible for warehouse management and EXIM
Develop a well-functioning team and play an active role in the Plant Management Team

Working Location: DEEP C 2B Industrial Zone, Dinh Vu - Cat Hai EZ - Haiphong, from now till 2023: working at Office in Hai Phong City with required travel to the Plant site in Dinh Vu.
Roles & Responsibility:
Planning

Prepare and control the raw materials replenishment according to forecast and supplier lead time; Maintain and manage the raw materials safety stock always at the target level.
Prepare, control, and optimize the production schedule depending on customer requirements, delivery forecast, WIP stock target, and service level;
Analyze production mix, lot size, complexity periodically and timely to optimize the production schedules and customer satisfaction.
To ensure the delivery service (quality; quantity; delivery date) for all customers.
Shortage management. Troubleshooting problems regarding raw materials, WIP, and FG shortage for order fulfillment.
To ensure the supply chain continues the improvement process.

Warehouse management

Ensure safety operations in Warehouse, and make sure workplace's health and safety requirements are met, and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock.
Establish proper procedures in recording, physical handling, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials, and when necessary proper disposal of slow-moving and obsolete materials.
To ensure inventory accuracy is up to 100% through efficient warehousing processes, proper controls, and good housekeeping e.g. conducting regular cycle stock count, etc.
Regular review of stock movement, shelf life and ensure practices of first-in-first-out in materials issuance.
Ensure a compliant hazardous waste disposal process.

Import and Export

Ensure all import and export activities 100% comply with local laws and regulations.
Guide daily import & export to ensure the operation smoothly.
Monitor forwarder performance and give timely feedback to the regional team as input for next round tender process.
Manage local broker to ensure a smooth import and export process

Performance & Talent Management

Establish a plan to identify, develop, direct, encourage and motivate subordinates in the department to achieve the company's overall objectives.
Setting, communicating, and monitoring department and individual performance targets
Conducting performance reviews and interviews.
Secure subordinate succession and backup planning.

Yêu cầu

Educational qualifications

Minimum bachelor's degree majoring in any discipline
MBA in SCM or equivalent professional qualification is preferred

Relevant experience

10 years of relevant experience including 3-5 years leadership experience in a multinational company
Experience with starting up a new organization

Personal characteristics & behaviour

Strong motivation to learn, have 'can-do' attitude
Strong interpersonal and communicational skills
Able to work under pressure and take ownership
Proficient Computer skills including MS Word, Excel; PowerPoint
Excellent command of English
Ability to work in a matrix organization

The site in Haiphong opened October 2023 and is 70,000 square meters in size and has a production capacity of around 40 million square meters of adhesive tape per year. With this the site Haiphong perfectly complementing the existing production site in Suzhou, China which opened in 2005. The additional production capacity will primarily serve the fast-growing Asian market, especially in the automotive and electronics industries.

About 130 employees work at the Haiphong site, offering employment opportunities to the local community, especially in the fields of engineering and production, supporting the local economy.
