Mechanical Engineer (prefer in heavy industry experience)
Main responsibilities:
Provide basic/detail design and supervise the installation of Mechanical
Equipment/Gas Duct based on related procedure, standards with some instruction from more senior engineer
Prepare specifications and clarification for materials & requisitions; check vendor's drawing, prepare subcontracting documents
Apply relevant international design codes as well as company tools, procedures, guideline following project requirements with few guidance as needed.
Give technical guidance to less experienced engineers, or review their product as needed during project execution
Provide budget estimation based on available input
Complete the assigned work independently within the agreed budget and schedule with quality as required
Communicate internally within the team and other teams to ensure the quality maintained throughout project including technical coordination with other parties within the organization
Identify project scope or design changes, or other issues which could adversely affect project cost or schedule, promptly to the Lead Engineer
Participate and support training, career development activities, and assessments to improve engineering competencies
Feedback, give initiatives or work with other teams on specific initiatives to increase the productivity and efficiency of specific task or for the whole team.
Any other task as instructed by the line manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant Engineering subjects
3-5 years of experience in relevant field
Familiar with cement/chemical plant/mining process and workshop fabrication
Have experiences in HVAC, Firefighting System Design, Gas Dust Detailing Engineering, Plant Layout in PDMS Drafting (GA, ISO drawings) and Aveva PDMS
Able to read and write work-related documents in English: reports, proposal on engineering solution
Able to lead a technical discussion in English
Familiar with IT applications like AutoCad, Inventor, MS Office
