• Manage improvement projects (OPEX), and machinery installation projects (CAPEX) aimed at improving productivity, safety, quality, availability, reliability, etc.
• Work with Production, PQC, EHS, and Maintenance team to understand their needs as end-users,
conduct research and analyze technical requirements to develop design concepts and propose optimal engineering solutions.
• Create a Scope of Work (if supplier and contractor required) including installation standards, acceptance standards, technical drawings, technical specifications, etc. Collaborate with
Purchasing to clarify requirements for suppliers and contractors.
• Develop technical drawings and submit designs for approval.
• Create and implement schedules for project implementation. Regularly report and align project progress to direct manager.
• Perform contractor supervision and licensing procedures which includes safety requirements for
contractors, project team, end-users.
• Inspect details during installation process.
• Prepare training materials related to machinery and equipment of assigned projects. Conduct training for end-users and related departments.
• Take responsibility for the progress, quality, and safety of all assigned projects.
• Monitor finished projects delivered to end-users and ensure all issues resolved (if any).
• Perform other tasks as required by line managers.
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or related fields
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
3. Technical Competencies:
- Foundational knowledge in mechanical engineering and mechatronics.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems: oil pumps, oil valves, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
- Basic understanding of pneumatic circuits: air compressors, control valves, cylinders, and other actuators.
- Basic understanding of mechanical transmission mechanisms (belts, sprockets, bearings, etc.).
4. Skills & Ability:
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power-Point.
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing softwares: Solidworks and Autocad.
- Ability to work under pressure of schedules.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Teamwork skills.
- Time management skills.
