Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Merchandiser Manager (Garment, $1150, ID19850).
Develop and implement work plans for the merchandising team in alignment with the company's overall operational plan and business objectives.
Assign tasks and allocate responsibilities to team members based on workload and priority.
Supervise and evaluate team performance to ensure efficiency, productivity, and high-quality work standards.
Provide guidance and professional training to merchandisers, particularly regarding garment styles, construction details, and customer requirements.
Production Coordination and Follow-up
Monitor and follow up on bulk production progress to ensure timelines are met.
Coordinate communication between merchandising teams,
sales staff, and customers regarding production updates.
Ensure production departments receive accurate and timely information related to customer specifications and production requirements.
Supervise the timely arrival of fabrics and materials required for production and ensure proper follow-up when delays occur.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Coordinate closely with relevant departments including Sales, Sample Room, Production, Warehouse, and Accessories to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
Support the production department in addressing issues arising during bulk production.
Facilitate communication between sales teams and customers when resolving production-related challenges.
Costing and Reporting
Prepare garment costing and submit it for approval by the General Manager before sending quotations to sales teams or clients.
Review Standard Allowed Minutes (SAM) with the IE team and verify embroidery, washing, or subcontracting costs when required.
Prepare and submit relevant reports and documentation according to company procedures.
Operations and Compliance
Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and management systems within the department.
Monitor employee discipline and maintain an orderly working environment.
Optimize resource utilization and monitor operational costs to improve efficiency.
Ensure tasks assigned by management are completed effectively and on time.
Maintain a proactive approach to prevent errors and minimize operational risks.
Female candidate under 45 years old.
College degree or higher in a relevant field.
Fluent in English (mandatory) with strong communication skills.
Minimum 2 years of experience at Merchandiser Leader level or above in the garment industry.
Strong understanding of garment manufacturing processes and familiarity with garment business procedures.
