Slash - Buy now pay later product - an entity of Oriente in Vietnam is looking for a Merchant Acquisition Team Leader to build the exciting fintech product with us
Role and responsibilities
In this role, the candidate will have hands-on responsibility for market development, "Mini-sme" merchant acquiring by applying versatilely both offline and over-the-line acquisition and penetration. We're searching for a soldier, also known as a generalist who possesses strong mind, proactive listening, can-do attitude and the bottom line is willing to do test - fail - test - fail and test all over again.

Main Role:
- Do market research and insightful analysis on mini-SMEs, who are currently or not yet have an online presence (with the point of view of both merchant and consumer)
- Identifying market opportunities, pain-points and competitors' intelligence
- Study, forecast, plan and conduct acquisition Strategies to the targeted segmentation, both in offline (direct) and over-the-line (Tele), based on the set goal of the project.
- Proactively find lead generations, manage sales and archive goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
- Build and maintain fruitful and profitable relationships with merchants
- Recruit, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of team members
- Solving emerging issues of the team and other stakeholders when needed
- Work closely with the Customer Service team to optimize the SLA and maintain a great service level to merchant
- Report and present results and plan to related team and stakeholders
Yêu cầu
Qualifications and education requirements
- Graduate from Business Management, Marketing, eCommerce or relevant, college or above
- At least 3 years working experience as a tele/direct sales, consultant or BD role in Saas, eCommerce or Food & Beverage field is an advantage. Consulting role from other fields is welcomed
- Good computing and Office skills
- Strong mind, good sense of business and service, customer-centric mindset
- Dedicated, self-starter with the ability to multi-task and versatility (female is preferable)
- Willingness and experience to work in a start-up environment
- Bright, calm, and nice voice is a big plus
- Can-do attitude and result-orientated, ability to work under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (both English and Vietnamese)
