Mid/Sr. PL - SQL Developer

Participate in Distributed Multi-tier Application Development, Database Design, Data processing, Data Warehouse and Support database technology on different platforms
Understand and perform data modeling, processing and warehousing techniques, Design, implement and administer databases Server platform
Ensuring Database security by restricting and following corporate standards
Writing PL-SQL Queries that varies from single table simple SQLs to multiple table complex SQLs
Document concise design, development, and testing processes for assigned projects
Analytical and debugging, coordination with DBAs for tasks such as creating/rebuilding indexes, adding partitions, and analyzing tables
Involvement in Cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations including Software as a Service (SaaS), Azure, migrating database to Azure
Implement Extended Events to replace custom scripts for monitoring & troubleshooting issues
Work along with leads to estimate project, discuss with business team understanding the scope and driving project completion
Use database utilities to troubleshoot performance issues from Application layer to database layer
Troubleshooting and Query Tuning complex SQL Code, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views etc., by analyzing wait stats, Execution plan & updating statistics
Involvement in DevOps environment with skill set in branching, merging strategy, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline for multi-layer architecture
Use TOAD or equivalent developer tools for day-to-day technical activities
Perform query optimization & performance tuning using any of the tools like:
- SQL Profiler, SQL Query Analyzer, Index Tuning Wizard, Database Engine Tuning Advisor,
- DBCC commands, DMVs and Third-Party Tools like Ignite, SQL Sentry Plan Explorer, Dynatrace
