Middle/Senior Python Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Attend and participate in scrum ceremonies
• Participate in schema and data modeling design sessions
• Implement clean code and adhere to coding best practices and standards
• Bench test and provide test coverage for implemented code
• Perform code reviews
• Maintain and support current implementations of on-going applications and products
• Follow required change and configuration management processes
• Research and resolve production issues utilizing critical and logical thinking
• Perform and support application deployments on lower and production environments as needed

General requirements

• An intermediate skill level of English
• 1+ years of experience (flexible depending on how fast your learning and technical developing capabilities are)
• Able to obtain deep knowledge of the project's technologies
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance
• Able to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies
• Familiar with the Agile development methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban)

Technical requirements

1. Junior/Middle Level:
   • Experience working experience with Python development
   • Experience with object-oriented, design patterns and programming principles
   • Good knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django/ Flask/CherryPy, etc.
2. Senior Level:
   • Proficient in Python
   • Strong experience in working with SQL and database design
   • Good knowledge of Python frameworks such as Django/ Flask/CherryPy, etc.
   • Experience in working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, TypeScript

Nice to have

• Experience with Python data processing
• Experience with NoSQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience in Agile software development
• Linux/Unix experience is preferred
• Experience in microservices and cloud environment (Azure/AWS/GCP)
