Role Overview
As a Fleet controller, you act as a key coordinator within the operations team, working closely with the Fleet Controller. You are responsible for planning and scheduling driver runs for upcoming working days, as well as managing future container deliveries. This role involves direct communication with brokers to confirm suitable delivery dates within container availability windows.
* Key Responsibilities for Fleet Controller
- Monitor vessel schedules and shipment status on the port system, ensuring all records are updated accurately and timely.
- Communicate with clients via email and phone regarding shipment-related matters, and coordinate with relevant parties to arrange bookings and schedules.
- Coordinate with team members to plan daily operations and adjust plans promptly in case of any issues or changes.
- Handle new job requests, create corresponding records in the system, and follow up with clients to obtain the necessary information for job execution.
- Keep clients informed of shipment status and any job-related issues.
- Monitor daily booking and timeslot processes and adjust operational plans to accommodate any changes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor.
Yêu cầu
• Working Hours:
Afternoon shift from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM,
From Mon to Fri. Sat - WFH (8:00-12:00)
• English: Fluent (Excellent Speaking & Listening skills), IELTS: 6.5+, TOEIC: 785+ ... is prefered
• Education: College or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or related fields is highly preferred.
• Experience: 1 years of experience as a Fleet Planner or Admin is highly preferred.
• Highly detail-oriented with a proven track record of proofreading run sheets and validating container data to eliminate system errors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (specifically for tracking asset status/locations)
