Job Description
Job title: NON-BOM OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

Summary/Objective: Perform several functions within the NON-BOM Operations team including kitting machines for engineering machine builds, receiving and inventory functions, and shipping/crating machines to all our domestic and international facilities. Maintain high customer service mindset while always looking for productivity improvements and profitability projects to improve Samtec's NON-BOM operations.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities
Facilitate packages accurately through Samtec via receiving, shipping, kitting, and stocking.
Work with Sourcing and Engineering to assist on machine builds.
Fulfill Global Inventory requests.
Coordinate shipments globally (communication with several internal groups).
Provide outstanding customer service to our internal customers.
Ability to work independent, troubleshoot, and execute according to SOP for the area.
Required to assist as needed with the shipping / crating / kitting.
Data Entry / System Updates.

Required Experience
Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
Note: The weight and lifting requirements may vary depending on local practices and regulations.
Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes.
Efficient in Samtec Inventory Suite, QP, Outlook, Excel, Reqlogic and Workday
Ability to stay focused on task at hand
Great Work Ethic.
Ability to work at fast pace and keep organized and can multi-task.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Mechanically inclined with tooling print knowledge.
Forklift Certification
AMS / HTS
DOT / IATA / IMDG Certification
Education
High School Diploma or greater is required.
Training Required
On the job training as appropriate.
