Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of the options and services required to meet occupational health needs, providing supervisory support to on-site contract nursing staff.
Case manage injuries and administer the workers' compensation claims
Lead/participate in weekly incident review
Implement effective return-to-work strategies following work related absences
Develop and disseminate monthly metrics related to OH and WC
Advise HR on disability issues in the workplace
Align with Recruiting for content and service providers of Pre-placement exams
Responsible for promoting quality & cost effective outcomes.
Act as associate advocate for health and wellbeing
Sponsor medical providers for on-site visits and tours.
Develop and deliver health promotion initiatives
Provide counsel for crisis intervention
Ergonomics Program management
Deliver health and safety related training programs.
Work within a multidisciplinary team
Maintain recordkeeping requirements and confidentiality of employee health records
