JOB DESCRIPTION
Translating official Chinese comics that we licensed to English
Using our localization tool to adjust & make sure the translated texts fit into the text boxes
Collaborating with proofreaders & quality checkers
REQUIREMENTS
Native Chinese fluency is a must. Native/Advanced English fluency.
Excellent grammar, syntax, writing, and editing skills in both Chinese and English
Understanding of the North American/ British cultures and the ability to provide contextual translation for our global audience
Computer skills; ability to learn and utilize new software applications
Highly responsible, organized & detail-oriented, love to read comics
Good communication skills and eagerness to experience, learn, and improve yourself
Understanding of mature content (BL/GL, etc.) and accepting different types of content (preferred)
Can work with us for at least 3 months and have a sufficient amount of free time to take on some urgent projects
