Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in organizing and managing both in-person and online events, ensuring seamless execution and a memorable experience for attendees. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, stakeholder management abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality events.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning and Management:
Plan, coordinate, and execute 6-8 in-person events annually, each hosting up to 20 attendees. (Contacts sourced by Marketing and Sales departments)
Oversee the organization of 8-10 online events (Webinars).
Develop and manage event timelines, budgets, and checklists.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Liaise with internal teams (content writers, designers, automation specialists, production team) and external vendors to ensure all event components are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Work closely with the Marketing Director to align events with overall business goals.
Logistics and Execution:
Handle all logistics for in-person events, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, catering, AV setup, and on-site coordination.
Manage online event platforms, registrations, attendee communications, and follow ups with the assistance of the marketing department.
Promotions and Communications:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, including invitations, landing pages, follow-up emails, handout designs, banners, in-event slide decks.
Ensure consistent communication with attendees before, during, and after events.
Event Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze feedback to assess event success and areas for improvement.
Prepare post-event reports, including budget adherence, attendee engagement metrics, and lessons learned.
Qualifications
Experience in managing both in-person and online events.
Strong understanding of event logistics, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
Proficiency with event management software and webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, HubSpot).
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
