1. Main Duties
• Develop and execute the overseas business development strategy to grow assets under management (AUM) for the company's offshore funds among foreign institutional and professional investors.
• Originate and manage relationships with overseas investors, distributors, private banks, and fund-of-funds to raise and retain capital for offshore fund vehicles.
• Lead the full investor journey for offshore funds, including prospecting, pitching, due diligence support, onboarding, and ongoing investor relations.
• Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Product, Legal, and Compliance teams to prepare fund presentations, marketing materials, RFPs, and DDQs tailored to overseas clients.
• Monitor global fund flows, competitor products, and investor sentiment toward Vietnam and frontier markets to refine product positioning and distribution strategy.
• Represent the company at international conferences, roadshows, and investor meetings, and support the structuring and launch of new offshore fund products.
Yêu cầu
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; a Master's degree or CFA is an advantage.
• 3-7 years of experience in business development, fund marketing, sales, or investor relations at an asset management company, securities firm, or bank, preferably covering offshore or cross-border funds.
• Proven track record of raising capital from, or managing relationships with, foreign institutional or professional investors.
• Solid understanding of offshore fund structures, cross-border fund distribution, and the Vietnamese and frontier-market investment landscape.
• Fluency in English is required; an additional language such as Korean, Japanese, or Chinese is an advantage. Willingness to travel internationally.
Skills & Competencies:
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills with a strong client-centric mindset.
• Solid knowledge of equity, fixed income, and fund products, and of global investor due diligence processes.
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify, structure, and close business opportunities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, CRM systems, and financial data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and cultural sensitivity when dealing with international counterparties.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently across multiple time zones.
