Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Pattern Head (Garment, 1100USD, ID22727):
Sample Room Leadership & Operational Supervision:
Direct and oversee all daily activities within the sample room to ensure continuous operational flow and top-tier product output.
Drive efficiency protocols and rigorous quality control measures across all sampling procedures.
Establish a clean, structured, and compliant working environment in alignment with corporate safety protocols.
Track evolving industry innovations and garment technologies to continuously upgrade sample production performance.
Pattern Engineering & Team Mentorship:
Operate GERBER software for precision pattern generation, modifications, and grading execution.
Supervise, coach, and guide a specialized technical team comprising pattern makers, marker makers, and grading experts.
Appraise team output on a regular basis, providing targeted technical instruction and constructive feedback.
Cross-Functional Technical Alignment:
Partner closely with Design and Production divisions to refine pattern accuracy for luxury apparel collections.
Verify strict conformity to technical specifications, measurement charts, and fitting standards throughout sample execution.
Requirement
Professional Background: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a comparable managerial position within the luxury/high-end apparel manufacturing domain.
Technical Expertise (MUST-HAVE):
Expertise in GERBER software for pattern development and grading workflows.
Profound technical understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and fitting evaluation.
Core Competencies:
Proven management abilities to organize, inspire, and drive technical sample room teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; exceptional attention to detail and precision.
Ability to thrive under high-pressure conditions and deliver within tight production schedules.
Language Requirement: Professional fluency in English for international communication and technical documentation handling.
